What is ACS Australia?
Australian Computer Society (ACS) is an organization of Australia that will assess the educational qualifications, skills, and knowledge of the applied candidate according to the standards of the ICT field through RPL report of non-ICT candidates. This assessment is completely based on the knowledge gained during the applicant’s experience in the relevant work field and it is related to the occupation, ANZSCO for immigration to Australia.
The applying candidates must submit a series of documents along with a filled form of RPL to Australian Computer Society (ACS). The documents provided by the candidates are up to ACS requirements then the ACS will accept it. ACS is a good and fast working authority in the world, it claimed by most of the candidates who go through this process.
Normally skill assessment should meet all guidelines mentioned by ACS. Once the RPL submitted to ACS, the processing time is of four weeks, but due to multiple documents submitted by the applicant ACS Skills Assessment Processing Time will take its convenient time to go through all every document. That means ACS officially takes the extended time up to 10-12 weeks to get assessment report. As the RPL report consists of a series of documents like personal information like qualification certified skills, resume, key areas of knowledge, project reports, etc.
The skill assessment section will only take a long time. To generate the applicant’s ACS assessment report will take 10-12 weeks, as the ACS bodies should go through documents by verifying the origin, analysing the project reports and gained knowledge through work experience from the relevant field.
